While I’ll always be grateful to the writers of 24
for creating a character with such potential depth and
controversy as Nina’s, I’m also disappointed about all
the possibilities they missed out on in s3. I don’t know how
many more fics I’m going to write before I get tired of it,
but so far it’s always been both a challenge and a pleasure
to explore Nina’s way of thinking and acting, especially in
interaction with Jack. This is just one of the many alternatives
for s3 spooking around in my head but it’s the one I had the
passion and patience to get down on paper. And in my humble
opinion - it’s my best piece so far.
